KOLEC P. TRABOINI -
poet dhe kineast, gazetar me profesion. U lind në Shkodër. Pas mbarimit të
studimeve universitare në Universitetin e Tiranës, dega gazetari, është emëruar
redaktor-skenarist në Kinostudio, Tiranë, ku punoi 16-të vjet, ndërsa për një
dekadë drejtoi redaksinë e filmit dokumentar. Është fitues i kupave për filmat
dokumentarë në dy festivale kombëtare të filmit shqiptar: “Asdreni” 1976,
“Kështjella e këngëve” 1990 si dhe ka fituar çmime e vlerësime për filmat
“Dëshmi nga Barleti”, Hasan Prishtina dhe Kolë Idromeno. Më 10 Prill 1993,
krijoi në Athinë të parën gazetë në gjuhën shqipe në Greqi, “Egnatia”. Në gusht
1995, ai emigroi në SHBA dhe u vendos në qytetin e Bostonit. Eshtë autor i 26
librave me poezi, prozë dhe publicistikë. Traboini- ka fituar çmim kombëtar për
vëllimin me tregime “Petalet e bajames së hidhur”1974 si dhe “Pena e Artë” Kadmus 2007 nga Klubi i
Shkrimtarëve “Drita”, Athinë.
KOLEC
P. TRABOINI / Albanian - American poet and
writer, a journalist by profession, graduated from the University of Tirana,
Albania in 1975. 1975-1991 scriptwriter for Kinostudio Albafilm Tirane,
Albania. Traboini work included writing of scripts for documentary films.
Recived 1-st National Prize for the film "Asdreni", 1976, first for
the film "Keshtjella e Kengeve" (The Castle of Songs), also won the
best Film of the Year 1990 for the film "Deshmi nga Barleti" (Witness
from Barleti) - a war history of 1468-1478, in her hometown Shkoder, North
Albania. He is the founder of the Albanian newspaper “Egnatia” in Athens, 1993,
author of 26 books of poems, prose, and essays. In August 1995, he
immigrated to the USA and settled in the city
of Boston. Traboini - has
won a national award for book of short stories
"Bitter Almond Petals" in Albania, 1974 and "Golden Pen"
Kadmous 2007 by Writers Club "Drita" Athens, Greece.
